This morning I was driving to my class from home, because I spent the weekend with my family. Last week brought A LOT of stress and worry about some unknowns in my life. As I was driving through all the beautiful fall trees, I felt like God was trying to tell me something. I thought about it and knew there had to be another word here besides the obvious fact that creation so clearly points to an incredible Creator. I had the radio on the Christian station 88.3 and the next song that played was, “Like you Love Me,” by Tauren Wells. The lyrics go… “Whenever the clouds come into my mind. I won’t forget it’s You who tells the sun to shine. Every worry, every night Every second thought about tomorrow’s wasted timeYou give the sparrows everything they need You light the stars and you paint the leaves You clothe the lilies in your majesty And You don’t even love ‘em like You love me.” Why do I worry about the distant future or even about what lies in my day or week ahead, when the God I serve so beautifully takes care of His creation! Our God thought of everything to give us including having the leaves change colors with the coming of winter How much more will He take care of His children who He hand crafted in His image?
